The PURE Installation
"Control Hub" Architecture
PURE sits between the OEM vehicle infotainment harness and the aftermarket DSP. It replaces the OEM Premium amplifier.
PURE translates the head unit's unprocessed digital source and incorporates the OEM volume control signal into the optical output.
Vehicle-to-PURE OEM Connections
The vehicle-facing side of PURE accepts the exact connectors that were previously plugged into the OEM Premium amplifier.
There is no cutting or splicing into factory wiring, so the installation is completely reversible.
PURE-to-DSP Aftermarket Connections
On the opposite side are a 24-pin connector and optical output, which both route to your DSP.
A supplied pigtail harness connects to your chosen DSP. Each wire is conveniently labeled according to your car model, for easy joining to your DSP's I/O.
