The head unit's unprocessed digital audio passes to the DSP prior to any factory processing. No analog re-digitization, no de-tuning.

System volume, chimes, navigation prompts, and hands-free call audio still work as they did before, without echoes or other noise artifacts.

Plugs into the OE amplifier connectors. No factory wiring is cut, spliced, or relocated to install PURE.
